Something missing? Write to hello@ritvexa.com.

Do you host my application?

No. Your application runs on a server you own or rent. DeployCode is the software that deploys to it and looks after it. You keep full control of the machine, the data and the bill from your hosting provider.

Which servers work?

Any Linux VPS or dedicated server where you have root or sudo access: Hetzner, DigitalOcean, Linode, Vultr, AWS EC2 or Lightsail, OVH, or a machine in your office. If it runs Docker, it works.

What do I have to install?

One small agent, with a single command. It connects out to DeployCode over an encrypted channel, so you do not open any extra ports and you do not have to hand over an SSH key.

What can it deploy?

Node.js, Next.js, Ruby on Rails, Django, FastAPI, Flask and static sites are recognised automatically. Anything else deploys from your own Dockerfile or Compose file.

Does my source code go through your servers?

No. The code is downloaded, scanned and built on your own server. DeployCode reads a handful of files through GitHub to work out what your app needs, and nothing more.

What happens if a deployment goes wrong?

A release only counts as live after it passes a health check. If it does not, the previous release is put back automatically and you get the log explaining why.

Is my data backed up?

You can snapshot an application at any time, or on a schedule: a consistent dump of its PostgreSQL database plus its other stored files. Restoring is one click, and the current data is copied first so a restore can be undone. Backups are kept on your own server, so your hosting provider's server snapshots include them. Keep those snapshots on: they are what protects you if the whole server is lost.

Will I lose my database if the server restarts?

No. Databases and uploaded files live on the server's disk, not inside the containers, and everything starts again automatically after a reboot.

Can I leave?

Yes, and your apps keep running. They are ordinary Docker containers on your server with a standard Compose file. Remove the agent and nothing else changes.

Is there a free plan?

Yes. Solo is free for one server and up to three applications, with no time limit and no card.

Make your next deploy the easy one.

Connect a server, pick a repository, approve the plan. Free for your first server, no card required.
